About Jolly Dog Training

Behavior modification in Tampa

Jolly Dog Training is a Tampa dog training business that is rebranding as Wild Spirit Canine Training. It describes itself as a welfare-driven certified dog trainer specializing in behavior modification, and says it was voted among Florida's best dog trainers in 2023 by Sniffspot.

Approach

The business says the best results come from teamwork between owner and dog, and that training is about building a lasting relationship based on trust and understanding rather than just teaching cues. It specializes in dogs with unique sensitivities, histories and behavioral challenges, and aims to help owners learn to speak dog so they can guide their companion with confidence and compassion. Its menu includes a separation anxiety service and a training methods page.

What to ask

Ask who the trainer is and which certification they hold, which methods and tools are used, whether sessions take place at home or elsewhere, how the separation anxiety program works, and what sessions cost.
