Courses by age
Westshore's group program runs in six-week blocks with up to four other dogs in each hour-long class. The ladder starts with Puppy for dogs 8 to 16 weeks old, covering potty training, socialization and early cues. Beginner serves 16 weeks to 6 months and works on loose-leash walking, tricks and games. Fundamentals, for dogs 6 months and up, targets sit, down, come, leave it, wait and jumping or barking. Advanced moves on to heel, distraction-proof recall and calm greetings.
Private work
The Westshore store also books 45-minute private lessons, with an intro Private Lesson 101 for new customers and packages of four or six sessions.
When to go
Training runs 9am-9pm Monday to Saturday and 9am-8pm on Sunday.
