About PETS Pet Enrichment and Training Solutions, LLC

Positive in-home training in Tampa

PETS Pet Enrichment and Training Solutions is a Tampa positive reinforcement training business owned by Brandi Burket, who graduated from Animal Behavior College as a Certified Dog Trainer in 2010. She is a member of the Association for Force-Free Professionals and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. Her background includes volunteering at Canine Assistants, sitting on the board of St. Francis Society Animal Rescue and working at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

Method

Training is one-on-one in the client's home and starts with a thorough evaluation at the first meeting. PETS uses positive reinforcement built on science-based learning theory, enrichment and simple structure in the home; force, fear and pain are never used. Clients get notes or videos after each session.

Services

Brandi teaches potty training, crate training, leash walking, polite greetings, basic and advanced obedience, tricks and introductions to new pets or babies. She also works on barking, socialization, separation anxiety, fear, reactivity, noise phobias, territorial behavior and resource guarding. Service dog, emotional support and therapy dog training are offered, with a referral required for service and emotional support work. PETS also does new pet match and placement. In-home training covers most of Hillsborough County and parts of Pinellas, with phone or virtual sessions further afield.
