About Team SamIvy

Owner-focused in-home training

Team SamIvy is a dog training program with a Tampa address at 691 S Harbour Island Blvd, operating as Sam Ivy K-9 Consultants. It describes its training as owner-focused and highly personalized: owners work one-on-one with an experienced professional who watches them train in real time, corrects things on the spot and explains why each step works. Training takes place in and around the owner's home, so the dog stays home with its family.

Courses

The Proper Pack Behavior Course targets behavior issues such as aggression, jumping, barking, soiling, chewing, biting, digging, leash pulling and running away. The Comprehensive Course builds on it with obedience, the Off-Leash Course works toward reliable off-leash control, and the Service Dog Course teaches owners to train a dog that must perform at any moment. The team works with all breeds, sizes and ages, including dogs with anxiety, reactivity or high energy.

How it works

Most clients meet their coach one to two times per week for an hour, get homework between sessions and practice 15 to 20 minutes a day, with text access to the coach. Pricing is set per structured package rather than per session.

What to ask

Book the free Zoom consultation at 877-564-4333 to ask about package costs, who your Tampa coach would be, and which tools are used.
