About Willow Glen Paws

Puppy and behavior help in Venice

Willow Glen Paws is a Venice dog training and behavior business run by Rebecca, a Willow Glen resident who has been helping people with their pets since 1997. She describes herself as a Licensed Family Dog Mediator, Certified Dog Trainer and Behavior Counselor, and says she is insured. She works with new dog owners, young puppies, adolescents, rescues and dogs with bad habits.

Approach and services

Rebecca uses positive reinforcement, building a dog's focus, attention and ability to calm itself through games and exercises. She frames training as one part of a dog's total welfare and teaches owners to understand what their breed was bred for. Services include a new puppy consultation, behavior consultations with personal one-on-one training, boarding and board-and-train, and a free Training and Behavior Round Table for local owners.

What owners say

One client wrote that the puppy school "was just the training we needed for our little boxer."
