About Click with Cait

Boutique puppy training in Jacksonville

Click with Cait is a private, in-home puppy training business serving Jacksonville and surrounding areas by appointment, established in 2026. Founder and lead trainer Caitlin is a Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Foundations Graduate who also gained experience working at Pet Paradise in Fleming Island. She takes on a small number of families each season so each puppy gets her full attention.

Method

Cait's methods are gentle and grounded in modern animal behavior science, built on clear communication, generous reinforcement, a marker system and a calm, patient approach. Her stated philosophy: "Passion, patience, and evidence-based positive reinforcement are at the heart of every training session."

Curriculum

The program moves through four stages: Foundations (name response, eye contact, settle and the marker system), Manners at Home (crate confidence, polite greetings, door etiquette, calm around guests), Out in the World (loose-leash walking, cafe behavior, recall, socialization) and Lifelong Skills (grooming cooperation, vet handling, travel readiness).

Prices

A 30-minute consultation, in home or by video call, is free. Private training sessions run 1-2 hours in the home or out in the real world, from $60 per hour, with follow-up notes, a video recap and bundle discounts. Inquiries go to (904) 837-6082.
