About Total Pet Training, LLC

Behavior work from Cary

Total Pet Training is run by Rebecca and lists Cary as its location. She describes herself as a force-free trainer recommended by veterinary behaviorists, and as a licensed Canine Functional Analyst.

What it helps with

The site focuses on behavior cases such as aggression, generalized anxiety, resource guarding and reactivity. Rebecca takes an individualized approach that looks at the whole picture rather than relying on a click and treat, and a client story describes her flagging possible pain behind a dog's behavior.

How it works

Work starts with an initial consultation, after which she builds a program to fit the owner's lifestyle and schedule. The booking page lists three- and five-session programs, functional assessment sessions and a combined assessment and behavior program. Virtual sessions are available, and the site says she works with clients across the world.

What to ask

Ask whether your case suits in-person or virtual sessions and what a functional assessment involves.
