About Fluid K9 Dog Training

Fluid K9 Dog Training publishes its address in its own page title – 8425 Green Level Church Road, Cary, NC 27519 – and lists a second location at 389 Dewitt Smith Road, Pittsboro. The business is founded by John E. Lugo, whom the site describes as "a nationally recognized dog trainer who has successfully trained service dogs, military and police dogs, sport dogs, and pet dogs" and as "a certified USMRA decoy" who trains dogs in the sport of Mondioring. It also notes a 2026 Best of North Carolina regional win from The Guide to North Carolina magazine.

Programs

Six programs are published: puppy training foundations, a basic and advanced obedience board-and-train, private lessons, behavior modification for reactivity and anxiety, sport dog coaching, and structured boarding and daycare with enrichment. The business describes its methods as "structured yet flexible," prioritizing "consistency, communication, and positive reinforcement."

How programs are set

The site says the team takes time to understand "your dog's history, temperament, and learning style before developing a customized training plan," and frames the sport strand as being for owners who want to "unlock your dog's drive and potential." Its stated focus for pet clients is narrower than the founder's resume suggests: "His main focus is helping every dog that trains with him become your perfect family companion."
