About Manners Matter Dog Training and Daycare, LLC

Who runs it

Manners Matter Dog Training and Daycare calls itself "the Lexington area's premiere enrichment and training center for dogs." Its mission statement says the business "is led by a multi certified dog trainer and supported by a compassionate and qualified staff that is dedicated to using modern training techniques to enrich the lives of dogs through both mental and physical stimulation, while building the relationship between owner and dog."

What they offer

The site's own navigation lists Private Lessons, Day Training, a Board and Train Program, Daycare and Enrichment, Dock and Pool, and Group Classes and Events. Three are described.

Group Classes run "most weekday evenings" and are pitched on price and control: "Group classes are an economical way to learn training techniques to get the best behavior out of your dog. Our small class sizes allow for a controlled environment to work around distractions with individual attention from our certified trainers."

Day Train: "Let our certified trainers do the hard part for you. Our daytrain programs teach your dog the skills they need to be a well mannered dog at home and in the community. You will receive coaching sessions during your dog's enrollment to help keep up with the training at home."

Board and Train is "our most immersive training experience. Your dog will live with a certified trainer in their home to learn manners and social skills."

Daycare

"Our dog daycare is unlike any other in the area. Our enrichment programs offer a balance of social and mental enrichment. Dogs get one on one time with a care team member every day they are here."
