A Dog's Best Friend is a dog training, daycare and boarding business; this is its east Vancouver location on SE Hearthwood Boulevard. Training is led by award-winning trainers using balanced, transparent methods, with the goal of a well-balanced relationship and a dog ready to join the family on any adventure.

Training programs

Puppy Kindergarten covers puppy socialization, foundational obedience and fun. Play & Train mixes private time with a trainer and social time in daycare, focused on on-leash obedience and leash manners. Courteous Canine builds leash skills, obedience and beginning recall for a well-mannered dog. The Board & Train program places the dog in a real home to master obedience and household manners and work through hard behaviors, and a puppy board and train is offered too.

Daycare and boarding

Structured, supervised daycare playgroups and overnight boarding follow a required temperament assessment.
