About Academy Dog Training

What they offer

Academy Dog Training by Haywood says it has had roots in the Washington area for over 40 years. Its training programs are a Puppy Program, a Private Lesson Program, a Daycare Training Program that combines daycare with training, and an Advanced Off Lead Program for dogs ready to work off leash. Grooming and bathing are offered on site.

Approach

The academy uses a three-step balanced approach built on three principles: build the relationship, teach concepts and proof the work. It aims to teach both dog and owner to communicate and learn together, and treats walks as training opportunities.
