About Acoma Training Center

What they offer

Acoma Training Center runs group dog training classes on Wyoming Boulevard SE in Albuquerque, serving the city and communities around Bernalillo County. Its programs are structured, with a clear outline and milestones for each course, and the trainers address the issues owners raise in class so everyone can benefit.

Classes

Puppy classes cover housebreaking, socialization with other puppies, loose-leash walking and confidence building. Novice classes are for dogs six months and older and work on jumping on guests, focus around distractions, loose-leash walking, coming when called, and snake and poison proofing. Advanced obedience adds duration, distance and harder distractions.

Sports and more

The center also teaches conformation for the show ring, agility, rally, scent work and trick training, so a dog can move from basic manners into a sport.
