About Agility Possibilities

A climate-controlled canine learning center in Oak Creek

Agility Possibilities, LLC bills itself as "the canine learning center where we INNOVATE, not imitate," on Rawson Avenue in Oak Creek, directly across from Farm and Fleet. Its stated mission is "helping you help your dog by assessing their aptitudes and sometimes adjusting their attitudes while always using positive training methods in our cognitive and recreational classes."

What is taught

The center was "created for dog owners who want to learn effective positive reinforcement training techniques to help their dogs succeed," and specializes in "force-free dog training that builds confidence, strengthens the human-canine bond, and makes learning enjoyable for both you and your furry companion." Teaching happens through small group classes and a variety of canine sports, covering basic obedience, agility, scent work and supervised playgroups – "multiple learning opportunities tailored to your dog's unique needs and personality." Private consultation sessions are available on request.

Facility and philosophy

Classes run year-round because the indoor course is climate controlled: "Our climate-controlled indoor facility allows us to offer classes year-round during all seasons. No need for winter coats or cooling fans in class!" The stated philosophy is progress over perfection – "Our approach focuses on celebrating progress, not perfection – because every dog deserves the chance to reach their full potential through compassionate, science-backed training techniques." The facility is also used by an outside instructor, Kathy Baily, CPDT-KA of Zen Dogs, LLC, who the site says teaches certain classes using the Agility Possibilities facility.
