All Breed K9 Academy is a full-service dog training academy with a Priest River address, founded by Peter B. Olson in 2000. Olson is described as a Certified Master Trainer backed by an accredited education, and the academy says its trainers have helped dogs and owners for over 20 years across Sandpoint, Priest River, Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Rathdrum, Spirit Lake and surrounding areas. Programs

Services include obedience at all levels, in-kennel board and train (boot camp), behavior modification, aggressive and timid dogs, protection training, bird dog training, house and crate training, owner handling skills and training collar conditioning, plus drop-off day school, private lessons, mobile training and puppy camp. The four-week in-kennel package, the most popular, is $2,580 and includes boarding and a 90-minute go-home lesson; a ten-week program that adds off-lead work, hand signals and whistle training is $5,180.

Group classes

Small five-week classes of 4 to 6 dogs meet in Rathdrum, Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene. Puppy Kindergarten (3-6 months) is $75, and Basic and Advanced Obedience are $85 each; the advanced course prepares for CGC and AKC obedience trials. A $199 Pro-Plan lifetime membership gives unlimited classes. Owners choose their method, food or praise, and the academy teaches "one word equals one command," with no "stay" cue.
