About All FUR Fun Training and Event Center

Indoor training center in Addison

All FUR Fun Training and Event Center is a climate-controlled indoor training space at 15559 Wright Brothers Dr in Addison. Its motto is that training is "brain based, not pain based", and the team uses science-based positive reinforcement with a focus on teaching people to communicate with their dogs. The agility area, the "Big AFF", is over 10,000 square feet, and a 5,000-square-foot "Little AFF" room handles general training; both can be rented when classes are not in session.

Classes

The lineup covers puppies and family dog classes, sports foundations, agility from foundation skills to international coursework, nosework, behavior classes for fearful, reactive or aggressive dogs, and just-for-fun classes, plus private sessions and seminars.

The team

Owner Paula Weir graduated from the Karen Pryor Academy in 2009 and is a Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner. Instructors include agility competitor Elizabeth Armstrong and Ellen Heavner, a UKC nosework judge.

What owners say

One reviewer called Paula "very knowledgeable" and another recommended Karen's reactive dog class as a must.
