About All Purpose Dog Training

What they offer

All Purpose Dog Training is a professional dog trainer in Newbury Park serving Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and nearby areas, with training built to be specific, caring and consistent for the dog and the owner.

3-Week Kindergarten for Dogs

The board and train program is for dogs with little or no training or with behavior problems. Dogs stay at the trainer's residence for three weeks while learning basic obedience, live in a normal household rather than a kennel, and go on hikes, walks and trips to parks and malls. Focus areas include house manners, leash training, basic commands such as sit, down, heel, come and stay, and specific behavior problems. At the end, the owner meets the trainer to review techniques and receives a personalized video of the dog's skills.

Other options

Five-week private lessons, training consultations and dog boarding are also offered.
