Aloha Positive Dog Training starts every client with an in-home private consultation to set training goals. From there, owners can choose private lessons of one hour each in their home, with the owner present and a written summary after each session, or day training, where the trainer works with the dog at home in 45-minute sessions while the owner is away and then reviews progress with them.

The owner and trainer, Kim Lepic, describes herself as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Fear Free certified, and builds training around management, enrichment and teaching dogs what to do instead of unwanted behavior.
