Alpha Obedience Dog Training is a Katy training company founded in 2019 by Katie, who brings 15 years in the field. It serves Katy, Fulshear, Richmond, Cypress and west Houston with relationship-based training built on one principle: success through leadership, meaning an owner who is clear, consistent and fair. The company is an AKC Approved Evaluator for Canine Good Citizen, Urban CGC and STAR Puppy, and a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals.

How it works

A free phone call comes first, then a 90-minute in-person evaluation for $85, credited toward any program. Board and train options (dog lives with the trainer) run from a 2-week Jump Start at $2,200 to a 6-week Complete program at $5,200, with behavior and aggression cases from $5,500. Private in-home programs at the client's home, within 15 miles of Katy, start at $1,000. Puppy Head Start for pups 10-25 weeks costs $2,000 as a 2-week board and train or $1,400 in-home. Off-leash, virtual coaching and group classes (from $200, working toward AKC titles) round out the menu. Every program of $3,000 or more includes a remote collar.
