About Animal Inspirations

Positive dog training in Hutchinson

Animal Inspirations was formed in 2000 by Sherry Eddy after her family moved from the Twin Cities to a hobby farm in rural Glencoe. She brought the positive, reward-based methods she taught for over 15 years at the Twin Cities Obedience Training Club to Glencoe, Hutchinson, Litchfield and surrounding areas. Beginner classes are held at Hutchinson Pet Hospital.

The trainer

Sherry is a Certified Veterinary Technician with over 40 years in veterinary medicine and has taught positive dog training to students of all ages for over 40 years. She is a Fear Free Elite Professional and a licensed Pet Partners Team Evaluator for dogs, farm animals and pocket pets, and stays current through seminars and continuing education.

Programs

Offerings include a beginner dog training course, a therapy dog / intermediate level course, a sensitive dog training course for dogs who learn best in a quiet, private setting, private sessions, and therapeutic animal programs with farm animals. Training is described as positive, effective and fun, based on current science in dog training and behavior.
