About Asher Dell Farm

Herding lessons in Malabar

Asher-Dell Farm is a working sheep farm at 3575 Corey Rd in Malabar where Judith Kelly teaches herding. She has over 40 years of hands-on dog training experience and has focused on herding for more than 25 years, working with Border Collies and other herding breeds.

Saturday lessons

Herding lessons run Saturdays at 11:00 AM and cost $50 per dog. Each session lets a dog explore and develop natural herding instincts around sheep in a structured farm setting, with beginner-friendly instruction and coaching for owners. Lessons are tailored to each team, whether the dog is brand new to stock or refining advanced skills. Judith asks that owners call or text (321) 977-0689 in advance to say they plan to attend.

Approach

Judith focuses on understanding each dog as an individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, helping dogs develop their instincts while teaching owners to communicate with confidence.
