Atlas Canine is your go to for board and training!! Very professional and caring with great results and support. Jessica is a natural teacher and for educating both your dog and you. If you live anywhere even remotely close to Ohio and are seeking dog training, be extremely thankful Jess is in the area. She is the most knowledgeable dog trainer I’ve come across. You can tell this is her passion. My family rescued a hyper, yet anxious, cattle dog puppy who was having trouble adjusting to home life and was showing extreme timidness. Waylon spent three weeks with Jess and came home obedient, able to follow commands, and willing to finally listen to us. We are so happy to continue to work with Jess in the future.

I could not recommend Jess and Atlas Canine more! My dog has spent the entire 4 years of his life on medications because of hyperactivity, separation anxiety, insecurity, unruly behavior, and a plethora of other issues. I have EASILY spent over $35,000 on trainers, medications, and specialist appointments in his life. Which may be CRAZY to some people. I get it. But I made a promise to him when I got him and as a pet owner, I intended to keep it. After a 5 week board and train with Jess he has come back completely OFF his 22 medications a day, he has manners, he knows boundaries, he can walk on a leash, and most importantly HE is happy! He is working on thinking for himself after a life full of medications and I know he is only going to get better! In two days he has done more things than he has in 4 years. I had a dog NO ONE would ever want and Jess turned him into a confident, behaved, well mannered boy, but still the same silly Jax we love! 1000% recommend her and Atlas Canine! We are forever grateful!!!

We rescued our German Shepherd when she was a year old, and she came to us with some serious behavioral issues. Jess and Atlas Canine did an incredible job helping her build a solid foundation—she’s truly a completely different dog now! Jess is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help.

Shout out to Atlas Canine – Jed finished up 10 weeks of training this week. Pretty sure had we not had Jess’s help, my husband and I would both be scheduled for shoulder surgery from leash pulling. Jed can now walk on a loose leash, pass a rabbit or deer without losing his mind, and has learned how to calm himself down around other dogs and in exciting environments. Jess is friendly, communicates well, kept us accountable, and taught us how to advocate for our dog. She is very knowledgeable about all breeds and their specific quirks & needs and tailors the training style to each person’s trust level with the dog. I learned that just a few basic commands can really be applied in almost any scenario. It’s been fun to see the change in Jed and we are glad that we have now have the knowledge to enjoy him in all kinds of different scenarios. If you’re in need, we highly recommend Atlas Canine!
