About Austin Dog Culture
In-home day training in Austin
Austin Dog Culture is an Austin dog training company led by owner Clayton Mathews, who was raised in a family of dog trainers and is credited with over a decade of experience and hundreds of dogs trained. He focuses on high-level obedience and protection sports, and the company's stated mission is effective and compassionate training that builds strong relationships between owners and dogs.
Programs
The core Daily Training program brings a trainer to the client's home Monday through Friday at a set time, working on issues like barking at the door or chewing furniture, plus public outings to places like the Domain, Home Depot, parks and hiking trails. It costs $3,200 for four weeks or $800 weekly; leash reactivity needs at least four weeks. Other programs cover daycare-based training, a week-by-week foundation program, puppy basics, on-leash and off-leash obedience, reactivity training and aggression rehab for human- or dog-aggressive dogs.
What to ask
Ask which tools are used for off-leash work and how long behavioral cases usually take. Free evaluations are booked at (512) 563-0991.
