About Balanced K9 Academy

What they offer

Balanced K9 Academy describes itself on its home page as a veteran-owned family business in Huntsville offering boarding and a variety of training options, including basic and advanced NePoPo obedience training and competition training and trial prep. Its training packages are an intensive in-house board & train program, drop-off dog training that sends the dog home at the end of each day, private lessons for owners who want to handle the dog themselves, and fear and aggression rehabilitation, which the page says is a specialty.

Specialist work

The site's menu also lists police K9 training, executive protection dogs and protection dog sales, puppy training, and breeding of several working breeds.

The About page names Nick as the veteran owner, a NePoPo Gold trainer who the page says has trained dogs for several federal agencies and served in the Marine Corps.
