About Bark Busters Greater Des Moines

In-home training across Greater Des Moines

Bark Busters Greater Des Moines provides personalized, in-home dog training throughout Des Moines, Ankeny, West Des Moines and surrounding areas. Owner Deb Boswell is a certified Master Dog Behavior Therapist, and the business has been helping local dogs and families for 18 years. Deb came to Bark Busters as a client looking for help with her own dog before becoming a trainer.

What it works on

Training happens in the home and everyday environment, where the dog's behavior actually occurs. Services cover home dog training, separation anxiety, aggression, puppy training with crate, potty and leash work, excessive barking and severe behavior issues such as sibling rivalry and multi-dog household problems. Barking training uses body language and voice tones dogs understand, and training is backed by a Life of Dog Support Guarantee.

What owners say

One West Des Moines client wrote she was "so surprised at how much Deb helped us in just one afternoon, and without treats, clickers, or any of the usual tools." Another noted that Deb gave homework and "ensured that we were held accountable."
