About Bark Busters Home Dog Training Tampa

In-home training in Tampa

Bark Busters Home Dog Training Tampa is run by Jef Evans, a Tampa native and small business owner who works as a certified Bark Busters dog trainer and dog behavioral therapist. He lives in Ybor City and works with clients across Greater Tampa, from Seminole Heights and Carrollwood to Odessa, Keystone, Lutz, Land O'Lakes, Trinity, Holiday, New Port Richey and Spring Hill. Jef has cared for rescue dogs ranging from Pit Bulls to Shih Tzus.

How it works

All training happens in the client's home and yard, where the dog feels most secure. Jef builds a tailored plan, teaches owners to lead and communicate clearly with their dog, and works to find the root cause of behavior problems. Bark Busters Tampa describes its methods as natural and dog-friendly, based on respect, leadership and trust rather than bribes or punishment. Gold Service support keeps the trainer a call away for the dog's life at no additional cost.

Issues covered

Work spans puppy training and behaviors such as aggression, barking, biting, chewing, digging, housebreaking, jumping, leash pulling, marking, new baby preparation, resource guarding, running away, separation anxiety and fights between household dogs.

What owners say

Kylee A. wrote that Jef "was flexible when it came to scheduling our in-home training session and very patient with us and our dog."
