In-home training for South Austin

Bark Busters of Austin South is a local franchise run by trainer Amanda Leigh Adams, serving South Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels and the surrounding areas. Amanda, who calls herself a dog behavioral therapist, has lived in Texas since 2013, volunteers with Austin Pug Rescue and previously ran her own doggie daycare along with boarding and walking dogs.

How training works

Amanda comes to the client's home and builds one-on-one programs around the dog's needs and home environment, addressing issues where they happen. The approach relies on clear communication and leadership, using body language and voice tones dogs understand, described as natural, dog-friendly methods. What it covers

Services include in-home dog training, puppy training (crate, potty and leash training plus nipping, chewing and barking), separation anxiety, aggression, excessive barking, leash pulling, jumping and severe issues such as sibling rivalry.
