About Barkfield Buddies

About

Barkfield Buddies offers obedience training alongside dog walking and pet sitting, and serves Sugar Hill, Buford, Suwanee, Duluth, Flowery Branch and southeast Cumming. Its trainer, Thomas Barfield, describes himself as a certified dog trainer who graduated from Animal Behavior College with a certification in Dog Obedience.

Obedience training

The training covers what the site calls the seven basic commands every dog should know – sit, stay, come, down, heel, off and no – plus other commands, and it also offers potty training, impulse control and dog walking training. The first visit is free and is used to learn what the dog needs, and the site says the trainer watches each dog for cues so it is not pushed too far too soon.

Other services

Dog walking, home pet sitting and drop-in pet visits round out the menu.
