About Bayside Pet Resort

A pet resort on U.S. 41 in Osprey

Bayside Pet Resort's Osprey location sits at 718 S. Tamiami Trail on U.S. 41 and serves pet owners in Osprey, Nokomis, Venice and South Sarasota. It is a full-service resort for dogs and cats, offering boarding, daycare, grooming and training under one roof, with amenities that include an in-ground pool and water park for dogs, live webcams, separate indoor and outdoor play areas for small and large dogs, and outdoor runs.

Training

Group and private training classes are available at Osprey, along with Doggie Day School, an immersive program that combines structured training with supervised socialization. Bayside describes its training as positive reinforcement and science-based techniques that turn training into a fun game for owner and dog. Private dog training programs can also be scheduled alongside a boarding stay, so a dog keeps learning while its family is away.

Other services

Daycare offers structured playgroups, rest periods and supervised play, and many families start there before booking an overnight stay. Boarding suites include Kuranda beds and webcam access, and dogs need current Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations.
