About Be Free Dog Training
What they offer
Be Free Dog Training works in Ventura County and Los Angeles with one method across every program: off-leash training with a remote collar that gives a light tap the dog learns to treat as a call for attention. Training covers instant recall, walking without pulling, door and car manners, sit and stay, place, no jumping or biting, socialization, crate and potty training, leash manners and advanced off-leash work.
Board and train
The board and train program is its most intensive option. Dogs live with the trainer's family during training rather than in kennels, follow the house rules their owners set, and go on field trips to local parks, stores and open spaces so they learn public manners. Sessions run 7, 10 or 14 days depending on a free evaluation, with picture and video updates along the way. At pickup the trainer reviews the work and teaches the owner how to keep control.
For alumni
Board and review stays give previously trained dogs a training refresher while their owners travel.
