Best Behaved Pups is a Jacksonville dog training business founded by Karyn Dossenback in 2018. Its mission is to improve the dog and human relationship by coaching owners to work with their dogs correctly and fairly. Training is private and one-on-one, done in the client's home and on planned outings so the dog behaves in any situation.

Method

Karyn uses a permission-based approach that teaches a balance of yes and no. Dogs learn to hold any command until released and to keep their focus on the owner, while owners learn how to maintain control.

Programs and prices

Every client starts with a 90-minute Initial Dog Training Consultation at home for $200, covering everything from nutrition to basic commands. Private lessons are $150, private training for two or more dogs is $250, and a six-lesson package is $800. The 3 Week Dog Training Boot Camp (no boarding) is $2,400 and includes 15 days of training with the dog plus 3 sessions with the owners. A free phone consultation is available at (904) 309-3009.
