The trainer's own account

Her published background begins in Salavat, a city in Russia at the base of the Ural Mountains, where as a teenager she learned to train dogs for obedience, rally, tracking, searching, nose work, tricks and herding. She states a Diploma of Canine Behavior Science and Technology from the Companion Animal Science Institute, and that she is working toward Certified K9 Nose Work Instructor. Both of those are her own claims on her own site; neither has a North Carolina registry behind it.

Nose work

Her two dogs have been competing since 2018 and she says both are at elite levels. She has also completed multiple workshops and training camps in the sport, which makes this one of the few Greensboro practices where scent work is a real specialty rather than a class filler.

Method

The stated belief is that dogs are happiest and at their greatest potential when they use mind and body together, and that all dogs have some degree of behavior issue or sensitivity.
