What they offer

Best Friends Dog Training in Toms River teaches group classes and private lessons. Classes include a six-week puppy class built on the AKC PuppyStar program, Beginners for dogs six months and older, Canine Good Citizen, a three-week therapy dog class, The Next Step, tricks, Confident K9 and a canine fitness class.

Private and in-home help

In-home training covers house and social manners, walking out and about, puppy training and socializing, fear issues and multi-dog households. Reactive dogs start with private lessons before joining classes, and a new puppy or rescue package combines in-home and in-facility sessions with a class spot.

The team

The head trainer has trained dogs professionally for over 20 years and holds the CCPDT-KA credential, and the team includes other certified trainers.
