About Best Friends Obedience Inc.

About

"We have been offering dog training and obedience classes in Lexington, Kentucky, and throughout Central Kentucky since 1983. Our goal is to provide the highest-quality obedience training in the area."

This is a group-class business rather than a private-training one. The site's motto: "TRAINING YOUR DOG THROUGH MOTIVATIONAL METHODS. NO DOG, NO JOY: KNOW DOG, KNOW JOY!"

Method

"Our trainers are best known for using the Volhard's Motivational Method, an approach to training for people who have their dogs first and foremost as pets. We want our students, both human and canine, to look forward to coming to class and have the best chance at success."

And: "We believe Motivational Methods are key for a dog's progress towards obedience. To that end, we use Volhard's Motivational Method for training."

Classes

"We teach classes in Pet Training, AKC Obedience, Dog Agility and Rally Obedience." Elsewhere the site lists "Obedience, Dog Agility and Rally Classes. All Levels."

Classes run at multiple levels: "We have different classes available at different levels in a variety of locations."

Registration is by form, and the site warns: "Register Early for all classes, they fill quickly."
