Better Nature Dog Training is led by a trainer who first earned the CPDT-KA credential in 2013 and holds it through 2028. The approach is science-based and uses positive reinforcement and other humane methods of behavior modification.

Training topics

Services cover bringing a puppy home, potty training, command training, recalls, leash pulling, jumping on people, biting, chewing and digging, excessive barking, aggression and reactivity, and separation anxiety and isolation distress. Basic training often uses marker training with clickers and humane harnesses and collars.

How it works

Appointments run online by Zoom, FaceTime or Teams or in person, including private in-home consultations and training sessions in San Francisco, and each one is followed by a customized training plan by email, with questions answered by email and text.
