About Black Woof Inn

About

Black Woof Inn is a purpose-built boarding, grooming, daycare and training facility at 2405 KY-53,

LaGrange, KY 40031. Its origin, in its own words: "What began as a shared vision between a father with

over 30 years of veterinary experience and his son, a driven Army veteran, has grown into a

purpose-built facility in the heart of LaGrange, KY."

Training

The training side is run in partnership rather than in-house: "Dog training at Black Woof Inn is

presented in partnership with Manifest K9, founded by Ali Ruedinger." The programs are described as

immersive — "your dog learns essential commands and good habits in our immersive programs crafted for

real-world success."

Ali, the trainer, writes: "I have been working with dogs for 10 years. My dog training journey began

when I was 17 and purchased my first personal protection K9. From there, the passion grew and I began

professionally training dogs and handling working K9s. I have lots of experience working with a

variety of different breeds and ages of dogs. I have worked with and trained everything from service

dogs to police K9s, personal protection dogs, detection K9s, and family pets."

Other services

Boarding uses climate-controlled suites with scheduled walks and social playtime, under the Boarding

Buddies program. Grooming is handled by Angel, the head groomer, who is Fear Free Certified and Pet

CPR-trained with 17 years of experience. Daycare is "safe supervised group play and enrichment

activities designed for physical and mental stimulation."
