About Bruno’s Dog Training & Pet Care LLC.
How they train
Bruno's Dog Training & Pet Care describes a "humane, balanced training methodology to build a relationship of trust and respect between you and your pet." That balanced framing means they draw on a mix of techniques rather than a single positive-only or correction-based approach.
Services
Beyond training, Bruno's is a broader pet-care operation in Mentor, OH offering daycare, boarding, grooming and at-home services. The facility is located at 8586 East Ave., with in-home options available for owners who'd rather train where their dog actually lives.
Who it suits
This is a good fit for owners who want training folded into a one-stop pet-care relationship, where the same provider also handles boarding, daycare and grooming. The site is light on specifics around trainer credentials and program structure, so reach out at (440) 853-9718 or Brunosdogtraining@gmail.com for details on classes and pricing.
Sessions in your own home, where many behavior problems actually happen.

My dog, Mike, absolutely LOVES going to daycare at Bruno’s. He’s also boarded here many times. I know I can always trust Danielle and the other employees to give Mike the best treatment when he’s there. They also do a fantastic job whenever they groom him. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Bruno’s Dog Training & Pet Care is amazing! I have been taking my german shepherd here for several months now. The pups are constantly supervised and they care for them like they are each their own pups. I have also been utilizing the training as well which I love – Danielle will meet me at a local park or at my home so it is real world distraction training. Archie my pup has boarded there a few times and someone is there all night and he does not have to be crated (unless the owner wants him to be) and then he gets daycare the next day to romp and play. Highly recommend and family run business – not a franchise. I also love Brunos because the amount of pups during day care is not too many.

We first began working with Brunos/Danielle for individual training when our dog, Jackson, was around 12 weeks old. We knew we wanted a husky and we also knew we didn’t have the first clue about how to raise a puppy. Danielle was extremely helpful. She taught us about boundaries, being fun, and praising Jackson when he made good choices. When Danielle told us she was opening a local doggy daycare within a few months, we made sure Jackson was one of the first dogs registered! Danielle and her team put so much effort into making the facility fun AND safe for dogs! Any time we drove into the parking lot, our dog became visibly excited and would RUN to the front door. We boarded him here multiple times and whenever we would pick him up, he acted like he didn’t want to come home and instead ran around in the lobby with his friends haha! Danielle and her team began to know Jackson (and us) by face rather than name which made us feel welcomed and proved to us that Jackson was more than just “a dog” but instead had a very special place at Brunos. We eventually did a one week board and train which gave us the opportunity to have Jackson off leash in our final training session! There is no greater feeling than being able to play with your dog and trusting that he won’t chase down a squirrel in the middle of it! Once, while picking up Jackson from daycare, Danielle noticed Jackson’s ears were slightly red and offered to trim them right then and there to allow better air flow. It turns out he had a double ear infection and responded like a dog in pain does (growling and whining.) Despite this, Danielle was able to trim both ears successfully which allowed them to heal quicker along with proper medication from the vet. I truly believe Danielle and Jackson built a bond over the last year and a half which is the only reason she could go near his ears when they were hurting. Danielle has a natural talent as well as advanced training to help owners and their dogs build the best relationship possible. We moved across the country to be closer to family and I have seriously considered flying Danielle in just to reinforce training. It would be well worth the investment. If you are looking for a trainer, a doggy daycare, boarding, or grooming, I HIGHLY recommend Brunos. You won’t find another facility within 60 miles that puts in the amount of time, energy, and love that this facility does. Your dog will be safe. Your dog will have fun. Your dog probably won’t be ready to leave when you do pick them up. Every day at Brunos is the best day ever.

My dog loves this place!! He gets excited when he goes to daycare! He don't even worry about me leaving him no more. They always do great with grooming too. When I first took him, he had anxiety and they were able to groom him and everything. Now, he don't care. He loves his Brunos employees.
