About Canine Concierge Training LLC

What they offer

Canine Concierge Training is a private, in-home dog trainer based in Edgewater, traveling to clients in Bergen, Hudson and Essex counties and in Manhattan and the Bronx. Training meets the dog where it lives and teaches the owner the half no one showed them.

Training path

Work follows a ladder: leash and loose-leash walking first, the most common reason people call; then manners at every life phase, from house-training and chewing to settling; then the Canine Good Citizen goal. A first session is a long in-home read of what actually happens, usually 90 minutes to two hours.

The trainer

Ben has trained nine dogs of his own, is a professional member of the IACP and handles his own service and therapy dog, who holds an AKC Novice obedience placement.
