About Canine Country School LLC

What they offer

Canine Country School is a training and boarding ranch near Gypsum, at the foot of the Flat Tops Wilderness along the Colorado River. It offers group classes, private lessons and in-home boarding and training. The home page lists a broad range of behaviors it works on, including basic obedience, competitive obedience, petiquette, tracking, performance, problem solving and tricks.

How it works

Dogs that board and train stay in a home environment rather than chain-link kennels, each with its own key person, and learn, play and rest in the house around the clock. The site describes its trainers as skilled and CCPDT certified, and says the school was founded in 1986.
