About Canine Evolutions
What they offer
Canine Evolutions provides relationship-based dog training and behavior modification in Toledo, serving Toledo, Chehalis, Centralia, Longview and the surrounding Lewis, Thurston and Cowlitz county area. Its head trainer is cynologist Bart de Gols. Training looks at the dog's genetics, temperament, environment and learning history and at the person holding the leash, then builds the plan from there.
Who they help
The work runs from puppy foundations, leash manners and everyday obedience to recall, over-arousal and settling, fear and anxiety, reactivity and leash aggression, resource guarding, human- or dog-directed aggression, dogs with a bite history and dogs that have been through training before without lasting change.
Programs
New clients start with an evaluation. Options include private on-site lessons, board and train with only four spots at a time in the trainer's home, memberships and long-term coaching, workshops and seminars, and group classes for dogs comfortable around people and other dogs. The center also trains service dogs, including PTSD, psychiatric, medical alert and mobility dogs.
