About Skylla Training Services

What they offer

Skylla Training Services is a training and kennel business on Smokey Ridge Road in Onalaska that covers basic to advanced obedience and specialty training, tailored to the dog and owner. The trainer, Courtney, has trained and shown dogs of many breeds for over ten years, prepares dogs for the Canine Good Citizen test and Therapy Dog International certification, and is an AKC CGC and temperament test evaluator.

Training

Group classes run from family-dog basics to competition-level work in obedience, rally obedience, beginner agility and confidence building, and conformation handling; they are announced on the business's Facebook page and need at least two sign-ups. Private lessons are booked by the hour. Board and train, with the dog working six days a week, is offered for obedience, rally, waterfowl retrieving, conformation and more, with the owner involved before the dog goes home. Reactivity sessions help with dog-to-dog, dog-to-people and dog-to-livestock reactivity in a controlled setting.

Other services

Bathing and grooming, boarding and daycare are also offered.
