About Canine Kingdom Naperville

Training, daycare, boarding and grooming at Royal Saint George Drive

The Naperville branch of Canine Kingdom is at 790 Royal Saint George Dr, Suite 119-121, one of two locations the business runs; the other is in Downers Grove. The about page says “Beach For Dogs is family owned and was established in 2015,” and describes the founding idea as wondering whether the dog-service businesses then opening “were really doing everything possible for our furry family members.”

The training ladder

The FAQ lays out a named progression rather than a menu: Royal Foundations for puppy socialization and early commands, Knight School for basic obedience and manners, Noble Manners for intermediate control and focus, Crown Champion for advanced off-leash reliability, Code of Conduct for AKC Canine Good Citizen prep, and Crown Council for custom training plans by request. The site says each stage “builds confidence, control, and real-world results.” Alongside the dog-facing services it runs a licensed grooming school and a trainer school for people entering the industry.

Prices and the grooming academy

Unusually for the area, the home page prints rates: daycare at $50 for a full day or $15 hourly, boarding at $65 per night with holiday weeks adding $5 per night, grooming from $15 for a nail trim, grooming school tuition at $7,100, and training starting at $1,795 for 20 days. The about page introduces Ed Wilson as Director of Grooming Services, Master Groomer and lead instructor of the Canine Kingdom Grooming Academy, and says he came to grooming after a 38 year career in the information technology field and holds a professional pet grooming diploma from the Autumn River Academy of Professional Pet Grooming and Artistry.
