Choose To Train Humane is the Heber City force-free training practice of Annie Phenix, a puppy specialist and reactivity expert. She is the author of two books on reactive dog behavior, Positive Training for Aggressive and Reactive Dogs and The Midnight Dog Walkers, and describes 25 years of hands-on experience. Annie earned a Canine Specialist certification from a dog training academy in 2007, is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and is a Professional Member of The Behavior Education Network. She trains with the clicker and specializes in reactive and aggressive dogs.

Services

Puppy options include the self-paced Heber Puppy Club, a Puppy Sensory Room, Puppy Primer and a Puppy Enrichment Package. Behavior help starts with a one-hour consult and continues with support for moderate or advanced concerns, plus good manners and obedience training. Annie also mentors dog professionals through courses and a trauma-informed community.
