About Club DSS Kat the dog trainer

What they offer

Club DSS is a family-owned dog training business whose site says its group classes run across Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells and the wider Coachella Valley. Its menu covers private lessons, puppy preschool and foundation training, service dog training, doggie daycare and boarding.

Board and train

A one-week board and train program works on-leash on practical, everyday obedience: come, sit, place, heel on a leash, food manners and door manners. A two-week immersive program adds an extended sit, place and down, a down from a distance and on- and off-leash walking.

Approach

The site says its trainers combine structure, positive reinforcement and real-world training techniques, with a focus on obedience, behavior correction and long-term results.
