About Confident K9

About

Confident K9 is an in-home training practice serving Middle Georgia. Its own page names the problem it is built around – a dog that pulls, jumps, ignores commands or only listens when treats are involved – and its answer is location: "Most training programs happen in a classroom or facility" and that when the dog comes home "everything falls apart", which the page attributes not to the dog but to where the training happened

Training

The published programs are a Puppy Foundations Program, foundational and advanced in-home training, a board and train, a behavior program, and a trainer-led walking and maintenance service for past clients or for owners who want a structured walk. The in-home work runs in the client's home and yard, their neighborhood and their regular walking routes.

Board and train

Where the dog trains away from home, the site says the transition back is part of the program: it claims to be "the only trainer in Middle Georgia who completes in-home transition sessions after every Board & Train".

Where they work

The published service area is Middle Georgia, naming Macon, Warner Robins, Perry, Fort Valley and Byron – north-east of the Columbus area rather than inside it.
