About CrittersWork Service Dog Partners, Inc.

CrittersWork Service Dog Partners, Inc. is a non-profit service-dog organization at 357 Kitchen Branch Rd in Greeneville. Its stated purpose is to work with rescue dogs: “Through training valuable rescue dogs, we will not only be saving their lives, we are giving them a job in Service to those in need.”

The standard it trains to

The site states it plainly: “We train service dogs to ADI Standards for public access.” The training space is not its own – the site records, in those words, “Facility provided by All Creatures Country Club” – the boarding and training business next door.

Programs and applications

Separate application routes are published for a service-dog pre-application, owner-trained handlers, an autism support dog, and an apprentice trainer. Alongside placement, the organization supports people training their own dog. That option is set out on the All Creatures Country Club site, which hosts the training: it lets “qualified handlers… work alongside an experienced professional while developing a reliable, task-trained service partner”. A page titled “Making Our Veterans Priority” sets out who is served first.

How it is run

Volunteer and mentor roles, board-member applications, a “Confidence Field” building project, a donation page and an auction are all published – the shape of a volunteer-run non-profit rather than a commercial trainer.
