About Dana’s Canine Connection

What they offer

Dana's Canine Connection is a Guthrie dog trainer, by appointment only at 9401 S Coltrane Rd. It works on behavioral modification, basic training and puppy training. Services start with a 1-hour training and assessment session in your home, with a phone consultation beforehand; follow-up in-home sessions come after the assessment or a board and train. The 2 week board and train works on confidence and communication with people, and there is a board and train rate for dogs belonging to non-profit rescues.

How they train

The About page describes balanced training adapted to each dog's and owner's needs, with training tools used as needed.

Who trains

The site says Dana founded a no-kill rescue and adoption program in 2000 and ran it for nearly 20 years, and now focuses on dogs in family homes and dogs held back in adoption programs by behavior issues. Overnight boarding is for current or previous training clients only. Booking is through the site's booking link.
