About Dedication Dog Training

What they offer

Dedication Dog Training is based in Maple Valley and serves King and Pierce counties. Its three-week board and train is recommended for dogs over six months or with behavior problems such as anxiety, fear, aggression and reactivity: the dog stays with the trainer, goes on daily field trips to practice in the real world, and the owner gets three lessons during the stay and three after. Private lessons take place where the owner chooses, typically in a public location or the owner's own neighborhood. It also trains psychiatric and mobility service dogs and asks that service dogs complete a board and train first.

How they train

The site describes evidence-based, science-informed balanced training that explains the how and why of each step, and lists a prong collar and an e-collar as part of the board and train.
