About Fairy Dawgmother Board and Train

What they offer

Fairy Dawgmother Board and Train runs a puppy training program in the trainer's own Covington home, giving puppies real-life training experiences and socialization. Families choose a two-week or four-week stay. The two-week session covers potty training throughout the stay, name recognition, sit, down, come, leaving an item alone, a release word, sleeping in a kennel and an introduction to walking on a leash. The four-week session adds hand signals, a further developed drop it and stay, recall to three blows of a whistle and going to the kennel on command, with fun tricks if time allows. Extended training days can be added.

About the trainer

The trainer is a mother of two who has had dogs all her life and also works as a substitute elementary school teacher.
