About Denver Dream Dog

What they offer

Denver Dream Dog is a puppy boarding and board and train program based in Littleton and run by Carie Grant, a Karen Pryor Academy certified training partner. The site says she has guided puppies and their families through the critical first year for more than 15 years, and it also hosts adult dogs.

Programs

The board and train comes in two levels: PupStart for puppies eight to 14 weeks and PupTeen for puppies 14 weeks and up. Using positive reinforcement, the programs build obedience, socially savvy play skills and confidence, with shy puppies helped to find courage and bold ones taught to play gently. The site's puppy topics include housetraining, crate training and nighttime settling, and building calm when the owner is away.

The setting

Puppies stay in a homestyle environment with a large backyard, puppy pools in summer and trails and log piles to explore. The service-area page lists families from Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Parker, Aurora, Castle Pines, Greenwood Village, Castle Rock, Lakewood and further across metro Denver. The about page says Carie graduated with distinction from the Karen Pryor Academy and was mentored by a certified behavior consultant.
