About Walking With Walter Dog Training
What they offer
Walking With Walter Dog Training is run by owner and head trainer Lawren Bennett and focuses on family dogs that pull on the leash, ignore commands, jump on guests or struggle around children. The goal it describes is reliable obedience at home, on walks and in public, not just in a quiet room.
Programs
New clients start with a 30-minute Discovery evaluation at the facility or a 60-minute private evaluation at home. The facility training package builds sit, stay, recall, calm behavior around distractions and controlled greetings, with the owner coached along the way; the in-home package follows the same curriculum in the dog's own environment. Board and train programs run four weeks ($4,925) or six weeks ($6,650), with daily structured training, public proofing and owner coaching when the dog comes home; the six-week program adds advanced collar communication and off-leash reliability. A 45-minute video consultation and a day-long shadowing option are also offered.
About the trainer
The site says Lawren has more than 15 years of experience, is a certified NePoPo Gold trainer, holds AKC Evaluator accreditation and is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. He specializes in family dog training and behavior modification and competes in dog sports with his own dogs.
